Gourmet Food Deeply Rooted in Tradition...

At Ruth's American Bistro, we believe that the best memories are made while gathered around a table with family and friends. These times inspire great conversation, much laughter, warm spirits and of course, delicious and wholesome food. From our home to yours, it is our goal to provide exceptional service combined with high-quality, gourmet meals to create memorable dinner party experiences for your friends and family.

Ruth's is always made from scratch, cooked from fresh, whole ingredients and meal concepts are conceived in my head.

Ruth's namesake is inspired by my grandmother. My grandparents, Richard and Ruth Luelleman, built their home in New Bremen in 1950, where my grandmother ran her own salon, Ruth's Beauty Shop. It was here where I remember receiving many haircuts as a child and in this home where I remember eating many family dinners while celebrating the holidays with loved ones. Sadly, my grandparents passed away in February of 2015, just 10 days apart from one another but their legacy still lives on today...

I miss my grandparents every day and wish that they could share in this dream with me. The sign from Ruth's Beauty Shop proudly hanging in my dining room is a constant reminder that they do.
